We regret to inform you that our classmate Gay Ingram has passed away and just 12 hours after her husband Curtis Minor also passed away.

Gay Ingram Minor, 75, passed Saturday, July 26th at her Smyrna home. Gay was born in Banks, Alabama to Leo and Annie Pearl Ingram. She was one of the original members of Smyrna Presbyterian Church. She loved painting portraits and relaxing at the lake. She was preceded in death by 12 hours by her husband and true love of 57 years Curtis Minor.
Gay is survived by her Sister, Sylvia Jo Bell and Brother-in-law, Loy Bell; son, Hubert Curtis Minor, Jr. (Lupana); Daughter, Amy Minor Shay (Allan); granddaughter, Shannon Decosse (Bobby); grandson, Riley Allan Shay; granddaughter, Kenzie Ann Shay, and great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jacob and Aria Decosse; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna Tuesday July 29th at 10:00 (Eastern Time). Graveside service and burial will be held at Alabama Heritage Cemetery on July 29th at 3:00pm (Central Time). The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to each service.
