01-20-2013 - WE HAVE LOST OUR HOMECOMING QUEEN

    • We are very sorry to report that we have lost our Homecoming Queen,Margie Knox Lindsey who died as a result of cancer in Mandeville,La.
    Margie was a vivacious blond beauty,spirited cheerleader, and was voted 'Most Popular' by her classmates in 1957.And yes,she was our beautiful Homecoming Queen.

    After High School Margie married Sonny LIndsey and they later moved to the quaint little town of Pass Christian on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.From  there Margie and Sonny operated a painting and frame shop on Poydras St in New Orleans.Life was good there until 2005 when their home and all that they had was blown away by Hurricane Katrina.They picked up the pieces and moved to Mandeville,LA to be close to their three children and six grandchildren.

    We always enjoyed seeing Margie and Sonny at the reunions.Margie had an incredible wit and could keep you laughing for hours.

    Margie,we will miss you at the next reunion;but you will be in our hearts and prayers.
