Stopping at Pops for 'shake ice' cokes
The long hanger with the hook on the end to get the ice out that Pop gave us and we returned and stuck in a container of water. Germs?

Pat Griffin singing 'Blue Moon'
Jerry Moon singing 'Cry' like Johnny Ray
'Baby Blue' corduroy shirts
Our only football loss in 1957 at the hands of Phenix City and 'Donut Favors'
Having to write 'Egyptians live in Egypt,speak the.............' for Miss Warr
My 1937 Chrysler that I bought when I was 15
The Roxy Drive In mgr telling us 'Me no wanna your bizness'
That it actually did get cool for late September football games
Long skirts,sweaters and bobby sox
Multi colored Harley 125's
Trips to Uncle Pickett's farm with Marlow Reese
How teachers like Susie Green actually made going to a class fun
Gettting back in shape for football in hot and humid August workouts

I thought it was 'Donut Myers'. He fell on me a couple of times in that game and it gave me permanent claustrophobia.

Jim....the only way that I know that it was' Favors' is ;when I went with Tom's Foods in Columbus,Ga in 1973 and the VP Personal was introducing me to some of the Dept Heads I was introduced to a David Favors.I said ,'You don't by any chance go by the name of Donut do you?'He said ...Sure do.
I'll have to tell you that story some time.
