I noticed an interesting point of planning reunions. When we were meeting for the big '5-0', the class of'47' was also having their 6-0'. They met for lunch and a get together at the MCC. Of course there were probably some more private gatherings, but it does seem that the years deminish the activities. Damn, youth is wasted upon the young !!Becsuse I am one of the youngest members of the class, (if not the 'bad boy' of same),maybe I have a different slant on things. It never dawned on me , that we could get to the point in time, that there would not be enough handicapp parking places to accommodate all of us. The thought also came to me, that it is hard to dance with an oxygen tank, and one might trip over a long air hose. I know thingss will never be the same as 'spin the bottle', at Patsy Thigpen's, or the same 'feeling' I got the first time I danced cheek to cheek, it was with Linda Gerson.Boy! Was she beautiful! Maybe the time will come that we can meet at somebody's home and play loud music , so eveyone can hear it, and when the police arrive at 2 in the afternoon , we can dare them to take us all in for disturbing the peace.
