Ok, who was in the senior 6th grade play about Donald Duck and I was Donald. My Mama made me a sailor suit and it had a tail I could wiggle. That may have been a defining moment. I was in the senior play at Lanier also, with , I think Mrs. Burnside directed, whom I always called sideburns. No wonder I was always in trouble. One show, the bottle bounced when somebody dropped it. It was supposed to break. Just think, I was probably the 'bad student' then, I only had to carry marbles and keep talking. Pic is me as : Bishop Bungy, 'Bless Me , Father.' This year
Well I was in the 6th grade at Bellingrath Elem but I was not in the school play because Wesley Marcus beat me out for the part of Donald Duck.I could imitate Mel Blanc talking like Donlld Duck but you could only understand every other word!
Alas...........my promising acting career ended at such a tender young age.
I later tried to revive my acting career by playing the part of Sir Sayid Nasif in 'My Little Margie', the Sr Class play at Cloverdale. That attempt was also a failure and my acting career was in deed ended.
